Every plan is end-to-end encrypted — only you can read your data. The plans differ in the features and room they give you. Here's exactly what's included.
The four plans
Trial
A short, free look at how the encryption works. No payment and no card — deliberately brief, just enough to try it out.
Free
One small one-off verification payment, then free and permanent. Everything you need for private mail, files, and a password vault.
Pro
Everything in Free, plus the desktop app, auto-replies, sender blocking, compose defaults, and room to grow your storage.
Advanced
Everything in Pro, plus your own custom domains, several mailboxes and identities, and aliases.

How accounts stay active
- Trial: a trial is short-lived. Sign in within a few days and upgrade before the trial ends — otherwise the account and all its data are automatically and permanently deleted. Because only you can read your data, deleted data can't be recovered.
- Free: if you don't sign in for 30 days your account is paused; after another 30 days it's removed. Just sign in now and then to keep it active.
- Pro & Advanced: no inactivity deletion while your subscription is active.
- Over your storage: if you go past your storage, you have 90 days to free up space or move to a bigger plan before the account is affected.
The desktop app
Available on Pro and Advanced plans, for Mac, Windows and Linux.
The desktop app gives you everything the web app does, plus a few things only a native app can:
- Works offline — read and write your mail without a connection; it syncs automatically when you're back online.
- Bring in your other mailboxes — connect Gmail or any standard email account alongside your Confidesk mail, all in one place.
- Auto-lock — the app locks itself after a period of inactivity and clears your key from memory.
- Quick unlock — reopen on your own device with just your passphrase.
- Drafts autosave — your drafts are saved as you type and sync back to the web.
